The Missoula Family YMCA is committed to being a safe space for children, individuals, and families. We are accredited through Praesidium.

Praesidium Accreditation involves compliance with best practices and a rigorous evaluation process that assesses various operational areas to help maintain high standards of safety for all involved in YMCA programs, particularly children.

All YMCA staff undergo extensive training around child abuse prevention. Something about volunteers? Staff are also certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
