Since 1967, the Missoula Family YMCA has been the community cornerstone for children, teens, and families.
Child Care (Ages 0-5*)

We offer licensed early learning programs for young children ages 0-5. We also offer short-term, drop-in care* for children while their adults use the YMCA.
*Drop-in care is available for children ages 0-7.

We offer licensed after school programs, no-school day camps, and full- and half-day summer camps for students in grades K–5.

Make it a family outing at the YMCA! We are Missoula's premiere family center with indoor play areas, drop-in child care, birthday party rentals, activities for teens, and more.

Enjoy a summer of fun with YMCA Summer Camp! Our full-day camps include meals and snacks, as well as before and after care.

Programs with registration and/or fees are open to both YMCA and non-YMCA members.
Drop-in and/or no-cost programs, such as Child Watch or Family Fun Time, are typically a YMCA member benefit and may require membership or a day pass to use.

The Missoula Family YMCA is committed to being a safe space for children, individuals, and families. We are accredited through Praesidium.
Praesidium Accreditation involves compliance with best practices and a rigorous evaluation process that assesses various operational areas to help maintain high standards of safety for all involved in YMCA programs, particularly children.
All YMCA staff undergo extensive training around child abuse prevention. Something about volunteers? Staff are also certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.

We are committed to keeping our services affordable for all Missoulians. We offer income-based, sliding-scale assistance for YMCA membership and programs. An application is required.
As a state-licensed child care provider, we also accept Montana's Best Beginnings Scholarship at select programs.

Visits to Child Watch
Every year, our Child Watch program welcomes thousands of children into the drop-in center. This program is included with YMCA membership and allows children to be cared for in a fun, safe, and supervised space to while their families use the facility.
