After School Care
Grades EL–5
YMCA After School is offered Monday–Friday during the school year. Supervised care is provided from school release to 6:00 p.m. This program accepts Best Beginnings. YMCA Financial Assistance is also available for qualifying families.

Pricing effective August 2025.
- 5 Days: $393/month
- 4 Days: $343/month
- 3 Days: $293/month
- 2 Days: $243/month
- One-Time Registration Fee: $55/year
After School FAQs
You will have the option to select which days of care you need during the enrollment process. Please note that days of care are fixed once selected. Speak with the after school director should you need to change days of care.
Onsite care is provided Monday–Friday from when the school bell rings to 6:00 p.m.
Students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.
While YMCA After School does not operate on no-school days, we often offer School's Out Day Camp. This is a separate YMCA program and registration is required.
Yes. All after school sites are licensed through the state of Montana and accept Best Beginnings. The Missoula YMCA also offers its own financial assistance program to support families. Families must apply for Best Beginnings before applying for YMCA financial assistance. Talk to the after school director or click the buttons below to learn more.
After checking in with a YMCA counselor, students will enjoy a healthy afternoon snack, at least 30 minutes of outdoor play, and indoor activities including STEM and arts and crafts.
