All clubs meet in at the YMCA in the Youth Activity Center unless noted.

Leaders Club

Grades 6–12

Teens will explore the many aspects of civic engagement, design a group service project, and discuss topics important to them. This club is led by teens with an YMCA facilitator present. Must have an active YMCA Membership to register.

Days & Times:
  • Mondays from 5:45–7:30 p.m.

LEGO Club

Ages 7–17

Our four-week LEGO club tackles themed projects, collaborative challenges, and creative construction. This club is led by a YMCA counselor.

  • Mondays from 3:45–5:30 p.m.

  • $117 w/ YMCA membership ($162 for non-members)

Drop-In Clubs

Ages 7+

We offer a variety of drop-in clubs for youth and teens looking to enjoy hobbies in an unstructured, but supervised, environment. Drop-in clubs are included with YMCA membership at no additional cost.

Youth & Teen Clubs FAQs

Depends.

  • Most programs with registration and/or fees are open to both YMCA and non-YMCA members unless noted.
  • Drop-in and/or no-cost programs are a YMCA member benefit and may require membership or a day pass to use.

The Missoula Family YMCA is committed to being a safe space for children, individuals, and families. All YMCA staff undergo extensive training around child abuse prevention. Staff are also certified in CPR/AED and First Aid. 

All clubs are led or facilitated by YMCA staff with structured activities. 

Drop-in clubs offers free time, equipment, and space for youth and teens to participate in their hobbies. While supervised by YMCA staff, drop-in clubs do not offer structured programming.
