Grades 3-4 | Volleyball Clinic

Grades 3-4

Young athletes will fundamentals of volleyball (passing, setting, hitting, serving, and game concepts) through drills and scrimmages. Clinics consist of 60-minute sessions held twice a week for four weeks. Knee pads and gym shoes are required.

Registration opens annually in February.

Volleyball Summer Camps

Grades 3-6

We offer week-long volleyball camps that focus on fundamentals. Our half-day Volleyball Camp is offered periodically throughout the summer, and runs Monday–Friday. Breakfast included. This is a mixed-gendered program.

Registration opens annually on March 1.

Camp Programming:
  • Half-Day Camp: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Care available 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Ask about our Afternoon Add-On option.)

Our volleyball programs are designed to help young athletes feel comfortable with the sport and develop fundamental skills.

Encouraging Coaches

Volleyball programs are coached by dedicated YMCA staff. All YMCA staff have been trained in child abuse prevention.

No. YMCA Youth Sports programs are open to anyone.

No. We welcome kids of all abilities and levels of playing experience to participate in YMCA youth volleyball programs. 

Children should come wearing clothes they can run and move comfortably in. Volleyballs are provided. Knee pads and gym shoes are required. Water bottles are encouraged.
