Sweetheart Dance

The YMCA Sweetheart Dance is an annual semi-formal family dance. Tickets include access to the dance, flowers for every child, and refreshments.
Date & Time:
- The YMCA Sweetheart Dance is traditionally held on a Saturday evening in February. Check back January 2027 for the dance date.
Cost:
- Advanced Tickets: $32 per couple ($15 for each additional person)
- At the Door: $45 per couple ($15 for each additional person)
Important Reminders:
- Photos: Professional portraits are available for purchase during the dance. You will receive one physical print and a digital download.
- Raffle: Raffle tickets are available for purchase for a variety of fun prizes.
Sweetheart Dance FAQs
All children and their families are welcome to attend the YMCA Sweetheart Dance! Every attendee must have a ticket to enter the dance.
While the dance is semi-formal, children and their adults are welcome to dress as formally (or informally) as they wish.
Yes. Professional portraits are available during the dance. You will receive one physical print and a digital download. Photos are $10/family. Payment goes through the photographer, and card is their preferred payment.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase during the dance for a variety of fun prizes. Tickets are sold by the YMCA and cash is the preferred payment.
Yes. We offer discounted tickets for families actively enrolled in the YMCA Learning Center or the Phyllis Washington Early Child Care Center. Talk to your center director to receive the discount.
Yes. All ticket proceeds stay in Missoula and support the YMCA's financial assistance program.
