Class Offerings

UNITE offers two tracks to choose from (FIT or LIFE) to help support your personal fitness goals. Teams meet twice a week for seven-week seasons, allowing you to get stronger and healthier alongside friends! All sessions are led by a dedicated coach who is with you throughout the entire season. 

UNITE FIT

This 50-minute workout will improve functional fitness and strength for all-over athletic results. UNITE FIT workouts are high intensity with a focus on functional and dynamic exercises. Meets twice a week for seven weeks.

UNITE LIFE

This 50-minute workout will improve total body strength, fitness, and toning, and help to bring renewed energy. UNITE LIFE workouts are moderate intensity with a focus on low-impact and functional strength exercises. Meets twice a week for seven weeks.

What to Expect

7-Week Seasons

UNITE Team Training consists of seven-week seasons. You'll stay with the same coach and team throughout the season, allowing you to get stronger and healthier alongside your UNITE community. 

50-Minute Classes

Classes are 50 minutes each and held twice a week. All classes are led by a dedicated coach.

Two Tracks to Choose From

Choose from two fitness tracks—LIFE (low-impact exercise) and FIT (aeorbic exercise). Both tracks focus on functional strength.

UNITE Team Training FAQs

No. UNITE Team Training is open to anyone in the community. Please note that non-members wishing to use the YMCA facility outside of class hours will need to purchase a membership or pass.

Yes. UNITE Free Week is offered the week before the start of a new season. Members and non-members are welcome to participate. Talk to the Welcome Center desk to get signed up. 

We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing comfortable, breathable clothes that you can easily move in. Close-toed shoes are required. Equipment will be provided. 

Each class is led by a dedicated coach who will be with you throughout the entire seven-week program. Your coach will lead you through a series of written exercises. Unlike a group fitness class, your coach will demonstrate an exercise and then move around the room to support participants as they work through the exercise. 

During our first class, all participants will take part in a guided assessment. The assessment will be repeated during our last class so participants can compare their progress. 

 

Classes are not refundable. If you need to miss a class, talk to your coach. A makeup class in another group's session may be available.
