Training depends on your volunteer role.
Annual Support Campaign
All volunteers will need to complete a brief Annual Support Campaign training with the YMCA's director of fund development.
Riverbank Run
All volunteers will need to complete a 30-minute, drop-in orientation on race day.
Youth Programs
Each volunteer must undergo a background check and a XX-minute child abuse prevention training prior to the start of their volunteer position. Volunteer coaches may need to complete concussion training as well.
A Commitment to Community
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity, the Missoula YMCA provides critical programs and services to nearly 15,000 individuals each year. With the support of generous donors and sponsors, we are able to make all of our programs and services accessible to countless children, teens, adults, and families who live in and around Missoula County.

With support from generous donors and partners, the Missoula YMCA provides more than a million dollars annually in financial assistance and community subsidies to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, regardless of income.
