Babysitting Courses (School Year)
Grades 6+
We offer six-week babysitting courses periodically throughout the school year. Classes meet once a week for two hours and cover babysitting basics including CPR training.
Upcoming Sessions:

Cost:
- $147 w/ YMCA membership ($192 for non-YMCA members)
Babysitting 101 Summer Camp
Grades 6+
We offer week-long babysitting camps for teens. Our half-day Babysitting 101 camp is offered periodically through the summer, and runs Monday–Friday. Breakfast included.
Registration opens annually on March 1.
Camp Programming:
- Half-Day AM Camp: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Care available 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Ask about our Afternoon Add-On option.)
- Half-Day PM Camp: 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Babysitting 101 FAQs
Yes. Teens may take the Babysitting 101 Course as many times as they want.
The YMCA's Babysitting 101 course covers the following topics:

Yes. Participants will have the opportunity to shadow and learn from YMCA staff in child care programs.
